i have someone that is gonna gimme a custom stainless catback, i just wanna know for the muffler, im hearing that apexi ws is a great sound and everything becuz ill be getting the y pipe as well. but i also found dynomax mufflers for cheap, and i know they arent pritty, but ive read up that they have incredible throaty sound and nice increases, if anyone knows anything about dynomax, please hook a brother up, thanks

 

i used to use the dynomax superturbo muffler and it WAS nice until... well after i got the ypipe and RT cat, it was waaay tooo LOUD. i took it off and went back to stock. i havent heard the apexi yet, sorry.

 

was it annoying loud or was it the super deep ive heard about, i can get a good deal on it so i just want ur full opionion on it, thanks a lot

 

before the ypipe, it was nice deep throaty sound. after the y, it was annoying LOUD. it was so loud that on the freeway cruising 60mph at 2.5 rpms, i couldnt have conversations with my girlfriend. i had to remove it. i miss the agressive sound my car used to make but at least its comfy now. by the way, did you read the thread below about the apexi. members were giving it good ratings.

 

yea its just the money thing that is killin me, maybe the other dynomax's would be better, other then the super turbo, i duno i just want a deeeeep muffler for the buck, what is a pacesetter sts that u have in ur sig, meaning i dont remember what sts stands for

 

STS-short throw shifter. Hey about the Apex, i really dont feel its worth it. honestly, with $400 - i would rather upgrade my clutch. much better gain in perfomance. look for a used muffler in the classifieds or something.
