Z32 300ZX brake calipers
Z32 300ZX brake calipers
I'm looking at doing a brake upgrade on my max, but have a few questions.
1. Should I get the 30mm aluminum calipers off a '90-92.5 300zx or the iron 30mm calipers off a '92.5-96 300zx? (Right now, I have a really good price on set of iron ones from a salvage yard.)
2. What stainless steel brake lines do I need? From what I've read, I think the standard max ones need to be adapted.
3. The 300zx rotors need to be ground down a few mm, anything else?
4. Am I missing anything?
Thanks for your help.

1) aluminum will be lighter, I'm not sure if there are any other advantages.
2) You need lines made specifically for this which will have max fittings on one end and 300zx on the other. You cannot "adapt" max ones. Check the GD forum, they have a set for the front and normal max ones for the rear for like $110.
3) Yes but I'm not sure of the specifics.
