Help my 97 maxima barely starts

in order for me to start my 97 max I have to crank it 8-10 times. When it finally starts black smoke is coming out of muffler. I’ve changed starter I’ve changed both front O2 sensors. Now 0707 code came up wich is cat O2 sensor. What else can be wrong ????

Black smoke means it's flooding out (getting too much gas or not enough spark or not enough air). This will kill O2 sensors too... or at least coat them with deposits until they no longer function properly.

Is this when the motor is warm or cold? Both? Does it run fine after it starts?

Things to check (other than items on last post):
spark plug gap on all plugs. (if they're old, just replace them)
Fuel pressure regulator (follow instructions in a Chilton's or Haynes or FSM)
Injectors (resistance between pins should be around 10 Ohms)
Crank Position Sensor(s)

there's more than this but don't want to get too carried away without knowing more info.

well it been in the shop for 2 month (had my clutch changed) and when i got it back then car started to give me problems starting. I have changed fuel filter and 2 front O2 sensors and changed starter. I took my spark plugs out and they were OK little dark. Sometimes car starts fine or starts fine and dies right away or during cranking the POPing noise and black smoke. but sometimes it feels when i drive that something is holding the car back. please let me know i am running out of options I did OBD2 check everything is ok BUT it detected problem with O2 sensor that located after cat (0707). Even Steelership (dealership) does not know they did hour diagnostics on a car.

I've had my car at the dealership for 5 days and they checked many things and still couldn't find the problem. They believe that upon starting the car, the amp is spiking low so they may think that it is an electrical problem. But they have gone over all the engine grounds and such but want to go over them again. But i'm not going to pay for them to repeat what has already been done. After that many days with the car and not being able to find the problem, i'm done with them. But if you find out the problem, let me know. I can list the things they covered and checked on my car so far. Just let me know.

thanks if u can go over the things they checked it would be awsome. my car spend 3 days at the dealer, they can't find a problem not to mention that my max already been at two other nissan dealers that performed same thing. Also u might want to check ur crank position sensors (there are 2 of them). thats what i am going to do again myself. i am going to make a new post hopefully someone had this problem.
