painting stock hubcaps...need suggestions/opinions
I would like to buy some rims, but just can't cough up at least $600 right now, so im thinking of painting the stock hubcaps...
the hubcaps, are peeling and have 2 shades of grey to them, so i was thinking of painting them either like a hyper silver, or a charcol (because i just tinted the windows on the max).
what do you guys think, and do you know what type or paint or what brand paint i should use for them.
very open to suggestions and opinions, thanks.

ok sand them down and the put primer on then. give them a couple coats of paint and then clear coat then with a couple of coats and you will be set. i did this but i didnt use spray paint. i used a paint gun with some leftover paint i had and clear coat. experiment dont be scared.
I recently painted mine. Cleaned them up real well, then a few coats of some adhesion promotor then a few coats of some silver wheel paint from Advance auto. It came out looking very good. The silver has a little bit of a metallic look to it. I probably should have used clear coat, but I didn't.
