1999 Maxima GLE

Hi
I am planning to buy a 1999 Maxima GLE. It is fully loaded with leather seats , roof , climatic condition setup, all powered and bose speaker systems.
The price it was mentioned was $10,000. It has a mileage of 51,550 and carfax report is good. It does not have a scratches and looks good.
Can anyone suggest whether its worth buying the car for the price.

All suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks

Kalyan

Sounds like a good car to me and the mileage is right. I have noted that used Maximas are cheap in the US relative to Canada. So when factoring in exchange, that car would be an absolute steal in Canada and I suspect is a very good price in the US. Is the price further negotiable, no harm in trying to knock the price down a few hundred bucks, but I wouldn't dilly dally around or it may well be gone!

Kbb.com or edmunds.com

Sounds good, I suggest numerous things.

1) CarFax owns all

2) Full mechanic report from Goodyear before you pay for car. Or mechanics report from quality dealership is better.

3) Full- wash of car to find scratchs.

4) Bring dad or most critiqueing friend you have and just go over car like fine tooth comb.

Proph is right, just before you sign the papers on that Max, a more thorough inspection is needed

other than that, I'd say get that Max

and when you do, watch out for those coil packs since that Max is a '99

Thanks a lot

Hi guys
Thanks a lot for the replies. I have checked with a mechanic and carfax too. Both indicate its a good one.
I bought the car and enjoying my rides already.

Thanks once again for all the replies.

Also can any one of you suggest regarding any warranties(Extended or something similar) that might be needed for this one.
