Rear brake problem

On my 97 gle the rear brakes dust a hell of alot more than the front ones is this a feature of the abs or are my front ones not being used? And if so how would one go by correcting this?

Perhaps it's the pad thats been installed in the rear thats causing the excessive dust.

On our front wheel drive cars, the front brakes do most of the breaking (most of the vehicle weight is up front) and usually dust the most.

If your front brakes weren't working, you'd have a very hard time stopping the car.

He has a good point you may have mix-matched pads. Could do it.
