Cost to repair this fender bender:

(last photo, thats a dent, not shadow)

What price range am I looking at to have this fixed? Any DIY suggestions or should I just leave it to the pro's?
thanks!

Depends on whether or not you want everything replaced and painted, or repaired and repainted. To replace the front bumper and fender and have them painted, you're looking at around $800-$1,000. My body shop prefers replacing bumpers and fenders rather than repairing them, because in the end the price is usually the same or cheaper to just replace the stuff. Labor charges to repair, strip and paint are usually higher than the cost of parts and labor to paint.
I'm just going by my shop, I'm sure others will have different opinions.

or you can do it ur self well wat u will need to do is take the fender out and use flat hammer the once that bodyshops use or get a peace of wood and hammer it out in the middle also the scraches can be either removed wiht a m3 rubbin compount it dont look that bad if that dont work get touch up paint and then use m3 polisher, that should do it its not extremly hard but it will save u alot of money, this will probabaly cost u about $50-60 in parts and couple of hours of ur time, also i know a friend of mine got a bodyshop in brooklyn i can refer u to him im not sure how much he will charge thou but i can come down there and u can talk to the dude

it doesnt look that bad during the day. I was able to get the white hairline scratches out for about a month using a good coat of wax and manual polishing. The dent is what gets to me the most it feels so flimsy to the point where I wish I could just pop my hand around it and punch it back out. The sort of feeling you get when you squeeze a pepsi can... too bad I need an oversize "pops-a-dent" machine for this one!

This was a $1500 repair job. That was just painting and installing the new fender. They blended the new fender in with the rest of the car, so it wouldn't be a slightly different shade. Luckily insurance covered it.

$1,500? I came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33644 on ebay. You should have went with that option and kept the 1300 or so

that ebay idea isn't bad, unless your paint job has fadded a bit then the fender will stick out liike a sore thunb. And I feel your pain, I have the same problem with my fender, got a new primered one on ebay for 80 shipped and paint is like 250, so not to bad

That ebay thing would have been better, but my paint is faded and would not match. It only cost me the $250 deductible.
