Just curious.. How many 95-99 max's with 5-speed manuals have had to replace driver's side differential bearing on "open Differential" more than once?I have 97 Max with 5-speed with 133,000 and lots of mods and have to replace carrier bearing 2 times and said enough and replace transaxle with new VLSD and have no problems since?

 

My VSLD carrier bearings went bad. Had the tranny rebuilt about 20K miles ago and so good so far....knock on wood!
