The right inner corner broke

Basically the fitment wasn't perfect, or I didn't install them correctly. It's really a small break that I can fix with superglue, after and if I get the fitment correct. However I like things to be somewhat flawless.

I foolishly threw out my inner OEM lights, so red / clears would have me buying those + red / clears which are about 150, and 50 each for the inners. So about 250 to move back to red / clears. Does anyone think the first gen altezza's would look good? if so red or JDM black ... the car is forest green with chrome wheels / clear front corners which is why i'm thinking about the chromes. (luxury look intended)

Please help me with this most important decision!

 

dump the altezzas and get yourself some red/clears.

 

You know I have red/clears, but it's becoming boring to me. The gen2 altezas really surprised me when I saw them in person. They really look good. I might think about getting a set and putting aside the red/clears. =)

 

Those altezzas look very good on your car, I think the colout kinda blends with the car (even if it's not the same colour) I don't know how to explain but just feels like they belong on that car

Hmm, I have some crazy glue ... I think 200-250 would be better put towards some tokico illumina struts the more I think about it.

 

yeah, on your color, red clear looks good, on white and black gen2 altezzas look great.

I think your car looks a little too ghetto for my taste, but it looks pretty good nonetheless.
I don't usually like the chrome thing, but with your theme you have on your car and with that color, it looks pretty good.

I would like the stock or red/clear better, but do what you want.

those altezzas are the only ones i would ever put on my car....but i think they look best on a black or white max only...

I have to agree.
I just don't think the roundness of them goes with the rest of the car. That is not supposed to happen until the 5th gens.

 

I love how noone is actually trying to help him out, they just give their opinions only. Everyone knows its unpopular to have any kinda Altezzas so why keep bashing post after post.


What you can do kik is find a set in the for sale forum or on ebay for cheap. You might get lucky and find someone just selling the inners or something. Just put a WTB post. Make sure you specify black chrome, because there are three types.

Anyway, he is right.
We all comment too much on whether or not we like the tails and not how to help the guys out.
The classifieds would also be where I would check first to find some new tails. If you cannot find them there, you could just start looking on ebay. If you are wanting the red/clears, they sell them on ebay and www.custommaxima.com.

since people have already shown their cars wit gen 2 tails i wont show mines. all i kno is i get some many positive things from people who love how they look at night. some nut head even mistook my car for a 4dr skyline converion just cause of the lights. i dont even have the kit. but for your prob u could swing by a junk yard n pick up a set of tails and work on those if u want.

Sorry me, but "ghetto" would be missing doors, and rusted, with missing hubcaps. Sorry, if it doesn't fall into your "acceptable tuner maxima look" category.

I've read through alot of pages in this forum, only to find people posting the same bashing, etc. of chrome rims + altezzas. Why do you guys waste your time? Are you trying to persuade someone, or just feel important?
