Brake and Battery Lights

I have a 1999 Maxima with a 108,000 miles and when I first start the car in the morning, the brake light and battery light indicators stay on for about the first 15 minutes of driving and then go off. My service engine light is also on but will eventually go off and stay off for a while and re-appear. I have also pulled the codes and each time I pull them they come back as undefined. I was thinking my battery may be going on me and 15 minutes after driving the charging system has had time to charge the battery, but then again maybe not. Just a thought. Any input would be greatly appreciated? Thanks!

Usually when brake and battery lights are, it means hte alternater is dead.

Go to AutoZone and get the battery and alternater tested for free.

You may also be low on brake fluid.

either you're low on brake fluid or your alternator is about to go

When both the battery and brake lights are on, it points to a bad alternator. Do what kevlo said - go get your battery/alternator checked at autozone for free.
