Seems Floaty when i get on my Max

Ive got a 95 SE. It seems when I really get on it like at a stop light or something. My max seems outta control like it just wants to jump to the other lane or something. should I get the front sway bar that stillen and courtesy nissan make? Would that help keep my car going straight when i really get on it. other than that my alignment seems fine. Thanks

The front strut tower bar seems to help with torque steer. You can get one off of eBay for around $25 shipped. I recommend the Otto Racing one; it looks good, is adjustable and serves its purpose.

Yeah I figured a strut tower should be a great suspension mod. I was thinking of the Courtesey or stillen? Anyone put these in or have any recomendation on style/performance

With the Stillen FSTB I suspect you are paying extra for the name. I understand the FSTB's off E-Bay are adequate. Try to get one made out of aircraft aluminum. I got a Vibrant FSTB in Vancouver for C$41. Its the same one CustomMaxima is flogging for US$69. Go figure!

Wait until you put on power mods. It only gets worse. Wider tires help a bit.

As someone said earlier, you'll just be paying more for the name on these. A few people on here (including myself) have the Otto Racing FSTB that I mentioned earlier. It has great looks (a polished aluminum with red "Otto Racing" text in the center) and it is adjustable. You can get a brand new one, shipped to you off of eBay for around $30.

make sure that your tire pressure is even up front
even small difference affects torque steer.

Ehh, that depends. I have the typical power adders (y-pipe, straight pipe, b-pipe, flows, intake, nitrous) and since i just put on my 18x8.5s on 245-40/18s it seems the car tracks WAAAAY more to the left than usual when i gun it in 1st. Could be the need for a slight alignment, but my stock rims shod with 225-55/16s never pulled that hard to one side...

Guess it depends on alot of variables...

My 96 did the same thing. I replaced a lower control arm because the bushings were worn.
