some quick questions

First :: the mesh that everyone uses for the grill is gutter guard, correct? Would it look good as well if i used this for any of the other holes like behind the license plate part? ( my fog lights have been busted so i was also thinking of filling the gap with this for now..) I found a place that sells a bundle of 18 pieces that are each 36'' long for 15 bucks [ thats a lot of gutter guard! lol ]

Second :: My warpspeed y-pipe and catback came in today and am having it installed very very soon... How much of a difference is these two going to do to my max from stock ? I've never driven a max with any mods but a muffler and an intake!

Third :: My car is throwing 2 knock sensor codes...once i replace this will i get the feel of my max's performance back? Should go great along with the ehxaust...perfect timing.

Thx ahead of time for anyone who takes the time to reply and give a fellow .org member some input! I love having such a good community...

1] using the gutter guard on all the openings in the front clip will look good as long as it's done right

2]from what i have heard the y-pipe will make a fairly noticeable difference mainly in mid to high end.

3] replacing the KS will give you a better perfomance feel to an extent...you won't notice much of a difference to make you go "wow"

I put mesh in my foglight holes bc the stock fogs got stolen..and the brackets and wiring inside look like ****. Painted the mesh with the charcoal wheel paint I had left over to hide the mesh.

before

after

Youll feel the car pull quicker above like 4.5k rpm with a ypipe..

getting an aftermarket exhaust system will not fix your KS problem. first of all, read this thread and understand and choose ur solution to fix ur KS problem >> http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...3&postcount=42

i suggest replacing a new KS, then get install ur aftermarket exhaust to feel the full performance gain.
