Added Topspeed SS axleback and other mods!

Hey guys, just added my GD Progress RSB, Carbon fiber door inserts these things look awesome, and Topspeed SS muffler. The muffler sounds fantastic very throaty, it's specifically designed for the Maxima so it's not too loud, almost completely silent at idle just a slight nice deep tone. a slight drone at 2,000rpm but quiet at highway speed, it's exactly what I was after, I'm an older driver so I didn't want anyhting overbearing.Check out my domain for all the pics:MAXRB8

I just put on my Y pipe and car sound cat. This made my axle back sound like a$$ so i put the stock muffler back on. You say this muffler sounds good...? Its really not loud or buzzy? If not then sweet. It looks nice too. Oh and the CF door interts are too cool with the black Maxima badges. I wish my Progress RSB still looked new, its all dirty and the hardwear is rusted. Nice mods/upgrades.

That's true you're the veteran, but compared to most of the gang I think we are considered the oldies!

That's a small muffler from the looks of it, cannister as well. I have a very hard time believing it sounds like you say it does, especially since you have a y-pipe. There isn't a muffler, besides the stock ones, that sounds good with a y-pipe. Also if it's made for the max why does it hang so low and stick out som much from the bumper. Nice and shiny though. I think I'll be looking for a new muffler pretty soon as well and need some opinions.

It's actually 18" long (canister) and 9" deep with a 4 1/2" tip, so it's actually only two inches shorter than stock, trust me I did a lot of research into this and even talked to the mfg's, how much it protudes is personal preference

But it's much thinner than stock. You mean the MFG's told you the product they are trying to sell is good?
