Rotor Got Jaked Up!!!

Man I was just driving down to my house yesterday night, when I started to notice a vibration when I was braking, so I turn My music down and start to hear the WORST break noise comming from the front drivers side breaks, I mean it was makin a noise without me even hittin the breaks, So I decide to have a look and My rotor has been Chewed UP nasty style, I just had changed my breaks like 8k miles ago so I have no clue HOW THIS HAPPEND, can some one please hint me off! So Im thinkin bout buyin some brembo slotteted oem style rotors now!

i just had the EXACT same thing happen to me. i had my brakes done about 5-7k miles ago and the front driver side rotor was completely chewed up. basically the last brake job i had done wasnt done right, so now i just had the front brakes done again for $285 for new pads and rotors and everything is now guaranteed. so far so good with the new pads and rotors.

ps - i dont think this has anything to do with brakes or wearing out your rotors or pads, but just to throw it in just in case it does, my car also needed new ball joints and control arm bushings and also the sway bar links were broken. i really dont think the 2 are related but im not really sure

Did you by any chance do the brakes yourself? Were the pads also changed or just the rotors?

I am pretty sure who ever did your brakes did them wrong. And since the pads are new what probaly eating your rotor is a shim, that came loose.
