TINTING: can you really tell the difference between 15% & 10%??

Bro just got 20% tint on all windows except for windshield. That stang looks NICE!! But on the way back from the tinting company (when I was driving behind him) I noticed that I could see pretty easily into the car through the rear window. Maybe it was due to the sun angle. Not sure.

For my maxima, I was thinkin of getting 20% or 15% on the sides, but tint the rear window DARKER... like 10% or even 5% (but 5% may be too dark).

I know that different tint on the side front and rear windows is noticeable because they are side by side. However, since we are talkin about the REAR window and since it is on a much different viewing angle, wouldn't a darker shade be able to blend in easier? It wouldn't be as noticeable, right? especially if the difference is only 5-10%

As you might have guessed, I am going for a nice, clean, uniform look.

THANKS!

BTW... My car's color is super black.

...BUMP BUMP...

So, wait. I'm talkin about tinting on the REAR window. This is not side by side stuff. I could understand that. Since the window is at a TOTALLY different viewing angle, wouldn't I be able to get away with only a 5% tint difference? It's hard to compare/differentiate different shades of tint at different angles, right?

Side windows - 15%
Rear window - 10%

thanks.
