I just noticed, but when i put my front windows up there seems to be a black line going directly down the center of the glass. I can tell its something -a lubricant of some sort- in the mechanism that controls the power windows, BUT WHAT IS IT???? Im at a loss and I really dont want to go to the dealer, any thoughts on what this might be?

if you have ever taken your car to get something fixed in the door, then it maybe some grease that they might have put on the arm for the window, that is going on your window.

Streak on windows

I have the same problem with my 97 GLE. No matter how many times I clean my windows that center streak always shows up! I don't want to tear my doors apart to figure out what it is. If anyone has any ideas, clue me in.
