Trenz Grill for 95 Maxima SE

Just ordered a Trenz aluminum grill off of custommaxima. I can't wait to install it! I was just wondering if anyone's already installed that grill on their max? If you have any pointers for removing the Nissan emblem or bolting it on I'd appreciate it. Also, if you have some pictures of your final results I'd love to see! Thanks

The 95-96 looks weird to me, it doesnt stand out and shine like the 97-99 so I got the 97-99 grille, I had to do several modifications to get it installed but I love the nice shiney grille look. Which style did you get?

Several modifications, at the time they didnt have the 95-96 grille and I was installing the Skyline front end so I went with it, after a long learn and go experience with it I got it to work. I had to bend the bars in the back of the grille to match up with the connections on my car to screw it in. Then my hood would not completely close on it so I had to shave the top of the grille so I could close my hood. Because of that I have to use a screwdriver or something similar to get inbetween the grille so I can hit the latch to unlock my hood. Also, since I had to tweak it to screw it in, the grille is a bit inset so its not flush with the headlights.

denami: I have a 96 I30. Will the grill on your car fit my car? If so can you tell me where to find that grill online so I can order it? I like it, looks sweet!

Thanks

u can keep everything 95-96, just buy the one from custommaxima for the 95-96 style bumper. the one for the 97-99 is a bigger grille.

I did not attempt to install the 97-99 grille with my stock front end, I had already installed the Skyline front end prior to trying the grille so Im not sure how it will work with the stock bumper.

Does this go over the honeycomb part of the stock grill?
