Cylinder misfiring!

Last night as I was driving home, the CEL came on. I took it to my mechanic and the code came out to be no.1 cylinder misfire. He drove the car around and said it was running fine but told me to check the spark plugs and the coil pack. I just changed to new spark plugs last week. I took them all out to check the gaps and they were all perfect. Could this be the coil packs? How much are they? Before I changed the spark plugs, the engine would sometimes "kick" or vibrate during idle but after I changed the spark plugs, the vibration was gone. Is that "kick" the misfiring?

THANKS!

Yes, coilpack is a common failure unfortunately. New they are around $70-90. I suggest look around for used..

ALWAY$ $OMETHING

i just got a cylinder 6 misfire on my 95 max, i know the 99 maximas have a problem with their coil packs always, 3 months ago i had a cylinder 5 misfire after changing the spark plugs than coils it turned out to be a bad fuel injector which cost $$$$ for labor to instal,

i am hoping that this time its not the same thing being a bad injector

does anyone know wat causes an injector to fail , bc i spent $400 last time to repace it , $100 for injector $300 labor of 4 hrs

currently i have 130k , is there any way to test if the coil is good or not before ordering it

also i need an update is the correct cylinder order

1 3 5
2 4 6

if someone can help me out i appreciate it

The firing order is right. I dunno about the rest...I'm trying to figure that out as well

Seems like I'm having lotsa trouble with this car lately and its only at 61,000 miles!

fuel injectors are jerryrome are $85 bucks and when you have a fuel injector go bad in the back, it should be a wise decision to change the whole rear banks to save money in the long run. just save the ones that are still good.
