High Idle after TB cleaning

Hey guys, I cleaned my TB 2 weeks ago and thought that the high idle (around 1000) would eventually lower itself to 750 but it hasnt. In drive or any other gears the idle is 750 but when its in park the idle is 1000. Did I do anything wrong or where is the idle screw located so I can adjust it. What do you guys think I should do?

near the TB is a BLACK PLASTIC SCREW, not on the TB but above it by the IAC valve. clockwise = lower idle

dont over tighten it..

If that doesnt werk, i just tried this idle reset procedure that a friend of mine told me he read in the FSM...

It worked for me, now if the screw doesnt solve your problem try it... here is how...

Idle the car for about 10 minutes (to warm it up)

shut it off, and put the key in the off possition, then put it in the "on" position (right before you start) and hold it there for 5 seconds or more...then put it in the off possitions (all the way down) and hold it for 10 seconds or more. Repeat this 20 times, and your idle will be reset to default.

Kind of tedious but it worked quite well for me.. let me know what happens.

I gotta look this up in the FSM... TEDIOUS is the keyword...damn... its even more ridiculous than the programming key fob procedure (keys in and out 7 times or something)... I mean 20 times with 5 seconds in the on and 10 seconds in the off, is 20*15 = 300 seconds - 5 minutes of putzing around... but hey if thats the procedure..

I tried the 5 - 10 second on and off thing and it worked but later on in the day the rpms came back to almost a 1000. Ill try resetting the ecu tomorrow.
