Did I get a real Exedy Stage 1 Clutch

My Exedy Stage 1 Clutch arrived today. The box says Exedy Racing Clutch and it also says Daikin Clutch ? It was my understanding this was a Japanese product. Outside of box says assembled in USA.

I opened the box and each piece says MI USA ?
Instructions say: New Daikin / Exedy Clutch ?

Anyone who has the Exedy Stage 1 clutch, does this sound right ?

Optimus you out there ?

thanks
c

I don't know man exedy doesn't have good reputation with their stage 1 clutches, and I think only thier top clutches are good. With your power numbers you should of gone with ACT stage 2 or something like that. Just my opinion.

I don't know we put on a stage 1 exedy on a d series honda motor not alot of power. Properly broken in no oil leaks went out in like 6 month and the guy doesn't even try to do track launches.

why don't you check out your local perfomance shop. They should have some exedy clutches if they don't look anything like yours does then you got a wrong one. They should let you look at some.
