HP loss from bad 02 sensor?

HP loss from bad 02 sensor?

my bank one O2 sensor is bad and I was just wondering if I am losing any power from it?

Yes. You may also experience decreased responsiveness. Fuel economy will also suffer. Although the car is driveable, I'd change it out as soon as possible if I were you.

Your fule economy will really suffer. After I replaced my bad one my MPG seemed to jump by 30 or 40 %.

Can you have a bad o2 sensor and not have a CEL? My car has 50k, but my mileage is nothign to write home about.

you will have a ghost code meaning, the CEL isnt on, but if you tried to retrieve the codes. u'll get the o2 sensor codes.
its showing up on the ECU, but it really isnt a problem yet so lets wait until the o2 sensor dies, and then i'll let you know you need to replace it.

hey i'm getting code 03 07 which seems to be involved with the 02 sensor. I dont know if its the sensor or the harness but i feel a loss in power, especially just trying to creep out of first, i seem to need more gas but dont know if i need to change harness/wire or the actual sensor. I just changed some sensors (2 of them) like 4 months ago...
