clutch pedal probs.

the car was hard starting this morning. when i finally drove it the pedal felt like it was loose. like the clutch wouldn't disengage till it was fully depressed. i think i need a thowout bearing but would that be the problem not. is there a way to adjust the clutch pedal.

Other than the hard start it could be your hydraulic system (master and/or slave clutch cylinder). Check your master clutch cylinder's reservoir and make sure its still full. Its next to the master cylinder for your brakes. There is a way to adjust the clutch pedal I'm pretty sure its in the FAQ's -- I know its in my haynes manual but I don't have it on me right now.
