A Few Lowering Questions.......

For those of yall out there that have new suspension, i was just wondering if you got a camber kit, and how much adjustment you had to do. i was also wondering what size wheel spacers you used, because i heard when you lower our cars, the rear tires espcially, have a really bad tuck. also, just to make sure, for the people with wheel spacers, did yall buy all 4 or just 2 for the rear.

thanks for any replys, all yalls help is always appreciated.

btw: i ended up getting the tein s-tech springs(2.2F, 1.8R), if anyone has this setup feel free to post pics also, like to see what my max will be looking like next week. Thanks again

i did not have to deal with any of this stuff. I lowered 2 inches and my camber was still in factory specs wwhen i went to have my alighment done. Most people do not use wheels spacers when lowering.

i bought the Eibach camber kit... but my tech told me that he didnt even need to use them cause the car wasnt that far out of spec after the Sprint 2" drop. So i guess that was $40 out the window

no need for a camber kit. I did my own suspension swap and didn't need to use it. Car is still within spec after alignment.

I'm lowering my max with stech's too. I had 19's and they got stolen.......What size rims would be best with the stech's? or would it make no difference if i had 18's or 19's....

A little off topic, but how difficult is it to lower a 4th gen?

A buddy, a case of beer and a few hours?

or is this for more experienced mechanics only?

Dont pay to get it done. You only have to remove like 4-6 bolts per strut/shock, but there are several saftey measures you have to take. Get a manual and do it yourself.

I'd suggest beers to celebrate after you're done, especially when a spring compressor is involved...
