JWT ECU question

I have a 97 SE 5spd...just need a yes or no answer to this question:

Will the 95 JWT ECU AUTO work in my car? Most likely not,but just wondering if theres any way.

Yes, but you will prob get some ECU codes.

but it wouldnt do anything besides give me codes? the 95-96 5spd ecu would give me codes too,so theres no difference?

I would assume that you would get some auto tranny shifting codes as well as hte rear O2 code(the code you get if you use 5speed/auto 95-96 ECU in a 97-98 5speed/auto)

it will work, you will get a cel and codes but the performance gains will be there.

You will get a ton of codes, but I bet the car will run just fine. I had a 98 auto Max ECU in my 96 I30 5spd. Gave me about 10 codes but car ran fine. It's kind of a pain to go through all those codes to find if any of them are important, which is what you would have to do to find out if your car is really throwing a legit code or not.
