A few of my friends and I are heading to the track next weeked. One of them also has a Max but his is 5spd and another one has a chipped 1997 Jetta Vr6 5spd. Who would take who in the 1320. Ive though the max, but that Vr6 has some pull to it and he managed to keep up with my other friends 2002 GTi 1.8t which is Chipped. Im also debating of getting rid of the Max for one of those Vr6's. Honestly who would win from either one. Thanx

Im just curious to see if anyone here has encountered one of the Vr6's.

 

jetta im thinkin my boy has a chipped 1.8t gti and that thing flies the vr6 is faster than the 1.8t stock but the chip adds a lot ,more to the turbo than the vr6 but im still thinkin the jetta has u beat

 

Well, my auto can take a 5spd vr6 pretty bad...

 

well we are talking about a 97 vr6 which is the 178hp one according to the numbers the max wins but those jettas pull pretty bad ***

 

i bet the VR6 would win.
