Size of component speakers

Does anyone know the diameter size of the rear component speakers in the 4th gen maxima? And does anyone know what are good rear component speakers to purchase for less than $100? Anything that creates decent bass and are reliable. Thanks

You want componets in the rear? The tweeters are killer on the people in the back's ears. I'd suggest just going with a good coaxial speaker. If you do go componets in the rear and want them cheaper, I bought a set of old Infinity Kappas (green cone) on eBay for $80. They sound great, I think the new pearl cone ones sound too lively, these sound a ton better to me. You can go this route or for a little over a $100 you can get a set of Infinity Reference componet sets...they only are over $100 because of the shipping cost, and maybe by $5-10. Good luck.

The diameter size is 6 1/2in. i believe. But if i were you get some 6x9s for the back and components for the front.

6.5" speakers fit, but technically they are 6.75" .... it's still a 6.5 speaker but it has an oversized mounting frame (I have BOSE; sorry but I don't know about non-BOSE). Don't be afraid about buying 6.5" speakers. I have JL Audio 6.5"s in the back with BOSE still up front, and they sound great with good bass that doesn't make the deck rattle.

None-Bose is still 6.5..and yeah the mounting holes in the door dont match up but the back deck seems to okay.
