Exedy stage one clutch

Exedy stage one clutch
Has ANYBODY had problems with this clutch? I've heard that a few people had problems with it slipping after only a few months (but I don't know who). Please post any experience, positive or negative. I think as far as it's level of performance it would be right for me (more than stock less than ACT), but I'm worried about how long it will last. My next choice would probably be an ACT stage one but it does cost another $100. I'm not too worried about it breaking the tranny (one of the problems I've heard about the ACT) because I'm going to be getting a 2k-2k1 tranny. I know there won't be much response to this (wrong forum), but have there been any broken 5th gen trannies because of clutches?

well i was lost when looking for a clutch, the max is in the shop right now and im getting the exedy stage 1 put in. i pm'ed alot of people and they all had very good things to say.
this whole clutch thing appears to boil down to install and break in. i will know soon enough what i think about the new clutch, i cant believe i have been 155k on the stock clutch, going to take some getting used to.
good luck, the clutch was a tough one for me, just didnt know what to get

Oh yeah, that reminds me. What is the proper break in procedure for a new clutch and a new (used but low mile) tranny? I'm full of questions aren't I ? Ceasar, had any of the people you PM'd put significant miles on the clutch?
