I like how websites showcasing the pictures of polarg hyper whites must photochop their images and change the color balance, because ****... these bulbs are like the bluest riciest thing I've ever seen in my life.

I thought I'd be all done with my lighting now that my DIY red/clears are done, got my PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9004s & H3's (SHOULD HAVE ORDERED THE DAMN PIAA 1157 REPLACEMENT TO MATCH!) and put in my DC clear bumpers today. Did the brightness change to the polarg bulbs and had to wait to see them in the dark till I just drove home from work now... now I'm ****ed.

I'm so embarresed to turn on my lights, I need to find a rice shop tommorow that carries PIAA's and get some or something. Anyone got a suggestion for an 1157 replacement with good light output and EITHER white or amber light output? I'd actually like amber, any brand suggestions?

Furthermore, anyone in the massachusetts southeast end know of any auto stores/rice shops that might carry what I need so I don't have to order it? I'm right next to the CC canal and can head in any direction. 6 out to the cape, 195 toward RI, or 495 towards boston. I'm at the beginning point of all three hwy's

 

I bought PIAA Xtreme White 1157 bulbs and they were very blue, looked terrible. I went and got the Polarg bulbs and they were whiter so getting the PIAAs will just make it look ricier.

 

really? these polarg m14's are EXTREMELY blue; I guess I'm gonna go amber then. brand suggestions?

 

I dunno about down your way (towards the cape) but in westwood there's a shop on route 1, in Quincy (right next to where I live) theres two, Pro-Spec and Lightspeed, which I'm sure would carry the bulbs. If you need directions to these places lemme know.

 

get JDM RAYBRIG 1156/1157/194. they are brigher than polargs. (tested in person)

 

i used autozone amber bulbs, and they look very nice with the 'brighter corner light' mod, and they were only like 3$ ill post pics sometime, i had the polargs before these, and also thought they were way to blue but i doubt the images are photoshopped its just the way the camera pics up the light, check page 2 of my cardomain those pics are with the polargs, amber looks 10 times better imo

 

Hows the color, very white or do the have a blueish tint? Are the bulbs also white and not blue like the polargs?

Do most car toys stores sell PIAA? I had the plasma fogs and 1 of them burnt out =(

Where do you buy the Raybrigs? I'm tired of the blue coming from my Crapolargs... Don't need to upgrade any harnesses with Raybrigs 1157s, right?

I have the PIAA xtreme whites headlights and got the 1157 xtreme white bulbs thinking that they would match. The 1157 bulbs put off a blue and dont match well at all. I replaced the 1157, 1156 and 194 bulbs with the Xenon chrome amber bulbs and IMO it looks a lot better with the PIAA headlights.
