PIAA Headlight question

Hey everyone,

Please take a look at this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7912315362

PIAA 9004 Xtreme White Plus

Is this a solid choice for headlight replacement from stock? Also, anyone know the difference between 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007? Brighter light as you go up?

Also, these lights won't be extremely bright blue, will they? Will they seem ricey on the road?

Thanks,
Dan

Stock is 9004, Im not really sure wat the differences in brightness between the others are. The Xtreme Whites are whiter then stock and if you look straight at them you can see some blue. They are white on the road and you cannot see any blue so it will not look ricey. Also, look around on ebay more becuase you can find them cheaper then $60.

I got the PIAA 9004's Xtreme White Pluses last week, very pleased. Very difficult to see the slight hint of blue, you have to try really hard.

the difference between the 900x is the connector on the back of the light. it just so happens ours is the 9004 and for example the 9007 is for a ford explorer. different car makers use different lamps.

9004 and 9007 are dual filament bulbs ( high and low in one bulb)
9006 and 9007 are for a two headlight system (9006 low, 9005 high)
thats for the 9xxx series there are others.

im running PIAA extreme white bulbs throughout my front end (headlights, corners, side markers, fogs)

fogs are amazing, the headlights have a slight slight hint of blue only in the dead center of the beam where the bulb itself is...

i definitely recommend them!

yea i got them too. i like them but if i were to buy again I would get Nokyas because I wanted a little more blue and because they are cheaper. However I would still reccomend them if you want just pure white coloring.

I don't think that it's any actual blue light that they give out. When you look at them dead center it still doesnt appear like a blue light emitting, but you can see blue inside the reflective housing. I think it's just a reflection of the blue tip of the bulb on the chrome; just my .02c

9004 is the bulb type for the headlights (dual filament hi/low beams.)
if you look in your owners manual in chapter 7 there is a chart with all the bulb types, wattages and how to replace them.

the fog lights are H3 55w, (by corner I assume you mean "clearance lights" which reside next to the headlights) are 1157's, the front turn signal is an 1156 and the sidemarker next to the turn signal is a 194
