carbon fiber lip

quick question for those who know what i am talking about....

for those who have the carbon fiber lip how long has it lasted you so far? or do you just have the stillen aero kit...or look alike...and just painted it black... b/c i spoke 2 one of the reps from ionicsdynamics and he said that the cf lip they have is only for show..car shows etc etc...so i just want feedbacck from people who actually have a cf front lip..thnks!

btw any maxima owners in san diego?

Ive had mine for at least 6mo.
You will have to be carfull with it, at any point of impact, it will not flex. It will break. Its mainly a "show" item, but then again arent all kits?
If you get it, just always remember that its there and take care not to bump it into curbs or low dips.

Yeah, I've had mine for about as long as flavor247 and it's been fine. I lightly scraped it on one particular driveway but some rubbing compound got the scratches out. I love it, it really sets the car apart from other maximas that I see around.

Just do the "Ludalip" to try it out. If you destroy that, you will have saved yourself a lot of money. It looks pretty good anyway.

if you going to buy a lip then use it on straight aways or for show only cause you will mess it up if it's a daily driven item.

urethane > carbon fiber > fiberglass

i work at a shop and lets just say im going to get the stillen lip because unless youre careful you will a) get jacked or b) crack it. but if youre a good driver go ahead and get the ionic one.
