Cai Question ????
Cai Question ????
sorry guys i just had a quick question about a pr cai. I was looking in to buying one in the next few days and just had to ask a question first before I do. I know you need to drill a 3 inch hole in the fender but besides that do you need to move or relocate anything else. I want to do this but dont want to move my battery or really anything for that matter. Thanks and please let me know
this is the one that i was looking into - this is the place racing one right -the one where you have to drill the hole and actually uses the cold air unlike the others -also let me know what you think of it thanks the sooner you reply the sooner i buy

Ive had the PR CAI in my 97 for over a year and love it. Other then cutting the hole you DO NOT have to move anything else. It fits in there perfect.
**************that is NOT the PR CAI, that is a knock off. **********

dude that intake will be fine! its not made by "PR" but it is the "PR" style... you may want to replace your filter for K&N? your opinion on that one...

I took out the battery and shelving prior to instaling my cai to give me more room to work with, I do not think you really have to do that though. After all was finished the battery went right back where it started. So no, you do not have to move anything.
what did you guys use to drill the 3" hole. in my old car i had to cut the hole bit by bit with a dremel and fiberglass cutting wheel. that worked but i think there might be an easier way.
thanks guys im winning it as of right now and i doubt anyone else will bid on it -so i guess ill let you know when i install it and if its better than the regular cone filter bolt on-still let me know how this setup has worked for you
