look at this explanation about why slotted are no good. Is that true? Does it really slice the pad everytime you brake? I only got 39,800 miles on a 97, don't use car much and not an aggressive braker. stock rotors are warped, don't know how. Car is use alot for long distance, NY to Canada and NY to Florida. I really like how the drilled and slotted looks. What do you all think I should get? Anyone has pics of any kind of setup, drilled, slotted, or both?

Rotors were made bya friend, magnum ss brake lines, and painted calipers

Motorcycles have used slotted and drilled rotors for a long time. The drilling is done predominantly for weight reduction and slotting to carry away brake dust better. There are probably some minor gains in cooling due to drilling, but the less mass in a rotor the more it will heat up too. I don't think the drilling trashes a pad anyfaster...the pad would have to "fall into" that slot or hole to get cut. But since you have a relatively large suface being pressed on evenly over small holes/narrow slots i don't see a problem.
You say you don't drive hard you probably won't have a problem. If you want performance the place to look first is pads anyway.
My advice on brakes is stick with a name you can trust...brembo, raybestos, wagner etc. OEM style rotors are around 40 each for the front. Ebay should have some brembo's for ~$100
good luck

I have the Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors and they are fine. Before that i had slotted and crossdrilled power stop rotors and i never had a problem with them on any car ive ever had. As for the cross drilled cracking... It happens (ive seen it before) but thats only due to constant serious abuse.
