CustomMaxima 'Racing Pipe'

What do you think of this?

I already have a Warpspeed y-pipe and an intake on my Max...any thoughts as to how much of an upgrade it would be?

You'll add 1 horsepower if you pray hard enough.

I had it, did some test n tune with it at the 1/4 mile track and lots of street crusing.

Performance: Nothing, according to track times there was nothing happening that the stock cat could not mimic. (Rating:0)

Sound: Overall sound was changed for the worse. I was easily the BEE KING with a very nasty and raspy exhaust tone at WOT. (Rating:0)

Quality: Looked very nice and well made. (Rating:3)

Fitment: Never really fit on my 97 Max correctly. (Rating:1)

Installation Kit: Blew the gaskets with 1 run down the 1/4 mile track. (Rating:0)

Price: IMO, price is way to high, 15-20 dollars sounds about right to me. (Rating:0)

The are strickly my thoughts and opinions regarding my experience with this product. Other maxima owners may have had different results concerning the test pipe. Rating is based on a 1-5 rating system with 5 being the highest. And yes, this disclaimer is retarded.

Damn this sucks, how did I ever let my friend talk me into this?
He claimed that the gains from my y-pipe (which I already feel very, very well) would be more pronounced once I put a straight pipe in. Yeah ok...

On the flipside though...if your cat is very clogged then you will see positive results.

lol...but the stock cat would need to be suffocating

(luckily I bought my testpipe from a friend for ~$10 so I wasn't worried about buyer's remorse)

I hope getting a visibly louder car isn't too much to ask out of this mod. We'll see.
