Hey..I've been having this problem for a few months now. I replaced my brake pads (front & rear) and know I have this awful...and I mean awful grinding noise some of the time. I checked them out and I don't see any scratches or anything on the rotor. Is it the brake pads? If so...what pads do you guys recommend?

I have heard and felt the same thing in my Maxs brakes. Rotors were fine, Ino pulling but it sounded bad. I also got a terribly load squeal from the brakes. After a few thousand miles the grinding noise went away but the squeal took a bit longer. My stopping ability wasn't affected and the guys at the shop that did the job said it wasn't a big deal.

Who knows?? This next time I am thinking about going for ceramic pads instead of the semi met pads.
