quick question

I wana clean up my engine bay even more, I really want a steam cleaner but i dont have one.. So my question is Do you trust auto wash places to do your engine? Im very worried to leave it in the hands of someone else, and have a good feeling they going to go on a "TEST DRIVE" LOL. Also What can I use to clean it up? Just the intake manifold.

I've always just done mine with a garden hose. I first spray it with some sort of cleaner, then rinse it with low pressure. My engine bay always looks nice...not show quality, but better than most.
