synthetic causin low end torque loss ?!?!?!?!
ok guys. im not sure how many of you remember me *****in about major low end torque loss and i was thinkin that it was the hot weather + injen intake.
well this monday i changed my oil. i had switched to mobil 1 10w30 supersyn coupla months before and this one was going to be my 2nd oil change usin synthetic.
to make it short, i drained the oil 2200 miles after i switched to synthetic and right now im running on my 2nd synthetic oil change (which i put in on monday). since monday when i changed the oil, the max feels much much faster in the low end. i can say that i've gained 80% of that low end loss. dont call me crazy and no its not all in my head. im not sure whats happening here but i think since the synthec cleans out the engine, then maybe the deposits where floating around and blah blah blah casuin some kinda torque loss in the low end. what do u all think??
for now im just happy cuz i can take off the line as fast as i used to do
