I have heard that struts with koni inserts can be modified to have shorter housings(to gain suspension travel after lowering), but I have not seen any additional info on how it is done.
Does anyone have a link or thread descibing how to do it, or know what part #'s are involved?

Thanks for the link, but I've seen that site already. I would rather do it myself and save some money, as it looks like motivational doesn't do anything other than cut the strut off lower and put in a shorter insert.

One thing you can do even before that is just to make sure your bumpstops up front are cut. Usually that can provide the needed 1/2-3/4 inch of extra travel.
Doesn't anyone have any experience with short struts or know what insert motivational uses in their cut down housings???
