air filters? what kind?

I'm purchasin a frankencar hybrid intake soon, it comes with two options for intakes....K&N or APEX'i. So which is the better one? THe APEX'i intake set sells dor about $50 more than the K&n set.

K&N is washable and reusable, apex'i is a zero maintainance use but has a life of 30k or so last I was told.

if your ordering direct from frankencar. be prepared to wait 2 months to get one, and recieve zero communication from them.
