Hey I am currently looking into getting tint. Not really sure which % to go with. I think legally in TX it is 35% on the driver and passenger windows... however I want to go with all 20% arround. What do you guys thing?

Yeah, in Seattle 35 was the limit. Everyone goes darker but..i dont know why i decided to go with 35%. But, Im satisfied with the results. I still wish i went with 20, but since my maxima is black and its the film that wont lose color, it looks darker. Its nice....

I have 15% all around. In PA, I dont think any tint is allowed on the front windows but I never had any problems...I had the tint for about 8-9 months. Maybe because the tint doenst contrast much with a black car or they just dont care.

On my Max i've got "titanium tint". On my Integra I have 35% on the doors, and 20% on the rest. This is legal in Texas where I had it installed, and lived at the time...but when I moved up to Ohio to finish college, I was pulled over 4 times before I got rid of the car. The best part? Ohio cops couldn't do anything but give me a warning because the car was registered and had plates from Texas. Always felt like I was getting away with something after each warning.

Here in tx, the law states that the tint has to be 35% but there are shops that will obviously do the % lower.
Here's my limo/mirror reflective tint.

20% still shows the figure of the person behind the wheel. it only gets hard to see through at night and when it rains.

Here's mine...

Oh, I mean, that is after I took it off this past week. ha ha. Here is what it used to look like with 35% on there. (It was going bad, and was already on there when I got it, so I took it off. I am just waiting a little while to put it back on there now. I cannot decide to go with the mirror like sagamax and kevlo or just back to black.)

I live in Dallas, TX. Darkest you can go in Texas is 20% in the back and 35% up front. This is what I am running 20% on all 3 in back and 35% for the front two.

I personally think it looks better(whatever % you get) to do the same amount in front and back. That is, on passenger cars anyway. SUV's, it doesn't matter as much.
