Stainless steel sheet metal screws. I also use zip ties.

Screws = ouch

I used 3M body molding tape. It is double sided and strong as hell. You can buy it at NAPA and it comes on a roll for about 15 dollars. They have different widths and thickness. I used 1/2 inch. I used it on my sideskirts and also on the bumpers where they cover the fenders.

did you have to prep the molding and the car body to get it to stick?

You should use a little sandpaper on the inside of the body kit to rough it up since nothing likes to stick to polyurethane. I think i used 200 grit or something. As for the body just wipe it off with some rubbing alcohol and also the body kit after you finish sanding.
