Finally fixed

I finally got the KS in after having it run off of a resistor for the past 4 months. I really didn't believe about "Nissan's Razorblades" under the intake manifold, but now i have the cuts and scrapes to prove it. Took about 20 minutes after trying to find the right socket to fit it and to break the bolt free. Haven't noticed any difference in performance, but i'm guessing the computer has to relearn because i reset it due to installing the intake again at the same time. anyone know how long it takes for the computer to relearn everything?

Considering the fact that you had the resistor, things won't change a heck of alot, it's when the ECU senses a bad KS that it goes into a safe map. You might have heard it ping occasionally with the resistor, you should hear nothing now.

I remember reading somewhere on this site that it takes anywhere between 20 and 60 miles for an ECU running on a safe table to decide everything is working properly and to return to normal.
