1. Can a '96 SE front bumper cover be fitted to a '96 GXE with no other modifications?

2. If all trim levels' bumper supports are identical, can fog lights be fitted to a GXE? Thanks in advance for your help and for the invaluable information available in this site!

 

if you have the Security and Convience package on your gxe then the harness will be there for your fog lamps. all 95-96 maxima GXE,SE,GLE share the same bumper. so if your trying to add factory fogs, all you have to do is dremel out the holes and put the fogs in.

 

Thank you very much, killcrap! I need to replace the cover because the DAPO had some contact with a stationary object, and the cover has a crease in it. Oddly, some parts suppliers show 4 different covers for he '95-6 cars: GXE/GLE with/without fogs, and SE with/without fogs. Any recommendation for a decent factory reproduction? They look to be about half of what the dealer wants.
