I looked 30 pages back, but could not find it.

Someone mentioned where to get the Knock sensor changed for about $20.
A place somewhere on Long Island.
This was on a 99 Cali spec.

Can anyone one tell me that place and possibly give me a phone number?



I mechanic friend of my father in-law was supposed to change mine today. My wife brought the car there yesterday and spent the night. I bought the part from that Yoshi person on E-bay.

The guy look at it for about 15 minutes and then told my wife that I got the wrong part, that since it was a twin cam engine there should be two KS. I sure hope he did not touch anything, won't know until my gets home tonight.

I guess that was the first and last time that so-called mechanic will be looking at my car.

 

Who can do it? Westchester, Bronx, Queens, Long Island, I'm not picky.

 

do it yourself!!!! and then when you get the hang of it, ill drive down and you can do mine!!!!!

 

I'm tempted, I was just looking at it today., I might be able to get it off, but I doubt that I will be able to put it on. There is just no room to work the the swish valve in the way. But thanks for your vote of confidence.
