Just wondering about the quality of the V2 filter by Weapon R. Someone told me that they had one and that it was cheap and is definetely good for the person who is not looking to do a whole lot of mods to his car. Anyone know about this? Also Could I just get a front strut tower bar or do I need a rear sway bar too? Can someone please give me a good pair of reasonibly priced brakes. My stock brakes sqeak which I hear is common on the Maxima so I wanted to replace them with some better ones. Thanks for the help.

I don't know anything about the V2 filter, but I can enlighten you on your strut tower question. Most people feel that the best thing to do for the handling of your car is to add a FSTB. . . As for the rear, most people will only a a rear stabilizer bad as a rear strut toer brace seem to not help handling enought to warrent the loss of trunk space, most people feel no difference. I have never driven a Max with a RSB but I have been told it helps in reducing body roll, and will help cornering some. . .

I am not to sure on the brakes question either. . . I know a lot of people like the Porterfields, but again I don't have enough experience to help you out. I would stick to getting the items online as they tend to be much cheaper. Stay away from carparts.com though, a lot of us have had really bad experiences with them.

I'm using Brembo Cross drilled rotors.. Stock sized rotors.. I think their really good.. it does make a cool sound when u stop.. dunno if others may like this but that's how it is.. i have some carbon fibre/metal or somethin like that type of brake pad.. braking power is excellent.
