I really like my Crimson Blaze... I think the concensus is that Maximas look good in any color except for that baby blue one that was for sale on ebay a couple of months back. They wanted like 10 grand for that ugliness....

Also, nice 4 door sports car has been bright red is the 5 series 2 body styles ago, and I think the last one offered it in the M5... that is what I want when I grow up.

I believe i have the Sage Mist Green color http://www.cardomain.com/id/mattmaxima

My first Maxy was Black, i <3 black (as you can see from the pictures that even being coverd with dirt and being totaled, black is still sexy)

Im not 100% happy with my color maxy, but i got the options & low miles so im happy.

Choices would be:
1) Black
2) Radient Ember Metallic (the orange color off the new 04 Maxy's)
3) Sage Mist Green
4) Metallic Blue
5) Dark Grey

Those are my top 5

Deep green with tan interior. I love the color. Get alot of compliments. The diamond clear bumpers accent the dark car even more. I have three people who would love to buy my car if i decided to sell.
I also like Crimson Red so that might be next.

You had mentioned 4-door sport sedans in red. Those are all sport sedans. Are they in the same class as the Maxima: Nope. The Jetta is in the exact same class(for the 4th gens), but the others are not.

I think you would be surprised.
The Altima is lighter than the 5.5 Maxima, and has the same engine.
It is beefed up even above the normal 250 hp 3.5 Altima engine.
Read some info about it.

Here is a pic. It is gorgeous. I want one in a few years:

Wouldn't it be easier to just sell it, get one that is a color that you like to begin with and then mod it?
That makes sense.
If you didn't like the color of yours, why did you start modding it?

Don't get bent out of shape. I am just asking to converse. okay?
Just curious:
1. Why didn't you have a choice in what color you got.
2. Do your parents own it?
3. I know modding is fun....I was just asking why you were doing it to that one that you said you didn't like the color of....rather than just saving up and getting one you did like the color better and then doing all the mods. That way, you don't have to do them again. No big deal though.

(It is all cool....just asking to ask....aight?

no getting bent out of shape here

my dad got this car brand new back in '94 so i was pretty much stuck with the color car he had picked 10 years ago. i think the main reason that i cant stand it is that 90% of the 4th gens sold here in AZ were pebble beige so my car looks like every other maxima on the road. and where would i get a Daytona Blue maxima from anyways

cool...I thought mzmtg and myself were the only ones with that color.

When I bought the car, I picked it up at night right after a snowstorm and assumed it was black. Only after I washed it, I realized it wasn't. I bought it from a friend of a friend too.

The first week I was pretty ticked, and then the first time I had it out on a clear day, I noticed that it sparkled dark purple in direct sunlight. I thought, hmm, this isn't so bad...

Black looks boring to me now.

Why, if almost everyone that I speak to hates the gold/beige/sunlit sand, are there so many out there in the 4th gen? I mean, I think there are more gold ones than black or white.

I had known for a while that if anything happened to my Altima, I would want to buy a 4th Gen Max. So it happened and the car could no longer be fully insured because it was financially totaled by the Ins Co. I bought it back to use as my daily driver and went shopping. Like any car these days, finding a 5 speed is hard, especially a nice one at a dealership. After looking for a week I had a choice of one car. Being in AZ I swore I'd never own a dark colored car, but I went to look at it anyway. I fell in love with everything except the tan interior. I've never been a fan of tan interior, but gray wouldn't look right with the dark green.

Then 6 weeks later someone hit my new car and caused 2500 in damage. Such is life.

I luv my pearl white.
If somthing happened or I had cash to buy another max, it would either be sterling mist or ALL Black;... blk wheels, blk tails, blk head light covers etc..

I thought redmaxpa007 bought another red max.

I have the Arctic Pearl White - and to honest, it's the color I wanted, though it doesn't look clean 99% of the time here in Florida, especially with all the construction, daily thunderstorms, parking under OAK trees with the YELLOW frackin pollen, and the wind when it's dry blowing all sorts of dust, limbs, and other crap onto my car....

The ONLY other color I'd have on the 99 Maxima is the Crimson Blaze - the red is pure hotness on these cars.

black or white are the best colors imo. I love my pearl. Only thing wrong is I have minimal rust on the fender. Other than that, it looks great.

Was some kind of horrible bumping post deleted or something? The first post I see here from 2010 is talking about an epic bump.

Beige sucks. So bland. These cars look great in every color except beige. The only benefit is that it doesn't look dirty until you're practically licking it.

Does anyone else with a Pebble Beige know how to get it shiny? The paint on mine is pretty flat in some places and no matter how much I clay bar it it hits a plateau past which it will not get shinier. My roof is pretty shiny but my hood is dull as heck.

I think every color available for the 4th gen looks good on it. Some fit better for certain people and environments but I think the beige/champagne doesnt look bad with the right wheels, even the 97-99 5 spokes are good enough IMO
