Do you like your Maxima's color?

I am curious. I really love my Crimson Blaze (or as I like to call it, Hooker Red) Maxima, but I see other colors, like the Sterling Mist or Arctic White and for a second wish that I would have gotten a different color. Anyone else feel that way, and what color would you have gotten? Auto or 5-sp not a factor, just color. I think I like the Jet black, sweetness.

I wish Nissan would make ***** red maximas again... not a big fan of the stately rosewood. I used to sell Nissans, and the Rosewoods would have cobwebs under them... TO clarify, I love my Max, it's kind of like when you are at the club and you are there with your honey, and another honey strolls by... it's interesting for a minute, but you realize you really like the way yours handles... hehehe.

I wanted black but got Green/black, now I like my color better than black. When I get a 5-spd someday I want it to be my color, white, silver, beige, or red...

i've got black and it looks hot when it's nice and clean, all waxed up. but that sure as hell doesn't last long. the car would also look nicer if there wasn't 20,000,000 scratches.

I've got Mercury (Silver), 99% of the time I love that colour. But every so often I see one thats this really cool bluish grey Maxima and wish mine was that colour, but the moment passes

Does anyone notice that there car looks best in certain weather conditions? For example, I think my car looks best on overcast days, makes it look more silvery

dark blue, light blue, or sterling mist. Maybe white but rocks would make me hate it, black is too common. I guess rosewood is ok, its a little different, actually got a compliment from an elderly chick (40's) saying she likes the color, it looks like a chocolate since i had it real clean that day. But its too....luxurious, not as sporty as i would want it to be...but that was the only sacrifice i made to get my black leather interior 5 speed

I love Black, it maybe very comming but still is the sexiest looking. Wash it and wax it, it looks like I it just rolled out of the manufacturer.

Or White with a CF hood, I adore that look.

I love my babys pearl, I am also starting to love the smoke. Hopefully when I get back from Iraq next year I will be able to find a nice 02-03 Max or 05 Alty in smoke with black leather.

My Maxima was the Ruby Pearl and I liked it but when I repainted, we took that color and added pearl copper flake to it. Now it looks almost the same in shade but when sunlight hits it, the copper flake really sparkles. Very happy with my custom color but hope i never have to repair a scratch or worse. It would be next to impossible to match.

I keep getting screwed with all of my cars. It just seems that the perfect car comes along in the wrong color. I've wanted a dark car now for 8 years, and my previous car was red, and my max is sunlit sand. Fortunately, sunlit sand doesn't show ANY dirt. If my car gets dirty it just gets less shiny. Also, touchups are almost imperceptible.

Black baby. Mines is metallic black. Looks like a shiny black when dark but once the sun hits her paint, the silver flakes sparkle like diamonds. She almost changes color right before your eyes. Sexy and sleek looking. The only other color I would get is a pearl white or black pearl.

I love Yellow cars, but Maxima is one such car I would not put yellow color on it at any cost, it would look like a taxi

I love the color that I have right now - dark metallic blueish grey - and it goes well with carbon fibre as well as silver decals.

But if at all I get to paint it - I'll either go for metalllic electric blue **** (darker shade) or might even think of the darkest possible metallic copper sunburst (the kind of color on new Mazda 6)****

Hey, any ideas, how much does it cost to get a professional, factory quality paint job done, these days?

At first I didn't like my dark green, but now I love it, because it fools people into thinking it's black. I was also thinking of getting a color change, but now I know I'll keep the green. I do agree that dark colors are a pain in the **** to keep clean though.

I love my deep evergreen. It isn't black like everyone else's and it looks really good to me. It is the color car I've always wanted. I have the beige interior though, and I kinda wish I had black. How much of a pain in the **** would that be to change, assuming I could find a wrecked Max with good condition black interior? Or maybe that is just a crazy idea.

to change the interior is not that hard. if you are new to it, it will take you a day tops to take it apart and back together. but since i took apart my interior already, i was able to take it apart yesterday in 15-20 min. very simple. everything is on clips and screws and bolts.

Black is the way to go on a Max. True...its common, but man, can that baby look sweeeet. only bad thing about mine is that the interior is tan. But since the windows are tinted...its not much of a problem....ill love it in any way.

*turns head, putting ear to wind* "Did someone say that they were kind of wanting a color other than the Crimson Blaze?" ha ha....That is cool. My other color on the 4th gen that I was going to pick before the red was the Sterling Mist. They are totally sexy to me.....not as sexy as mine and Thunder's.

BTW, sometimes I wish I had a different color......but that is only when I get picked on all the time by cops. I get harrassed, even when I am not speeding, esp. when my car is clean. I promise, if I wash my car and detail it really good, I can go out that weekend, and I will get pulled over or followed for a while. That part just sucks. I mean, don't they have better things to do (or faster red cars to follow...like the other one in my sig......Lotus Esprit.......it is in the same town)?
Oh well, that is what I get, I guess.

That is a good order of colors.
I am with you on the gold/beige.

Why do you mod yours so much then?
Why not just sell it and get a color that you would be more happy with?

no offense but i really dont think the maxima looks all that great in red. Did they ever make another crimson red maxima ie 5th or 6th generation?

I just dont know why there is so much hype about the crimson red max

It was not put on any others like that.
It was an option on some 3rd gens(not called Crimson Blaze though....I think it was Aztec red or something).

Just curious what your reasons are for not liking the 4th gen in red?

I don't think a 5th gen would look goos at all in Bright red. However, a 6th gen might be a different story.
