Need info about the rear brake piston.

How do i get the rear brake piston to retract? someone told me to screw them in, but they're pretty damn stiff. and if i need to screw them in, do i turn it clockwise or counter clockwise.

one last question, do i need to sand down my new rotors?

If you read the stickies you would know. A special tool is required. Or read an Hayes or Chiltons.

8 Dollars to resurface your rotars at O' Rielly's Auto parts . Rotars are sensetive you may just have to buy new ones and they are not that expensive.

i tried, there's no rear brake disassembly/assembly how to! that is why i'm asking

I also read through the Hayes, 93 thru 2001, there's nothing about 98 rear plate rotors, all they have info on is the ol' school brake drums.

I have new rotors, all 4

you dont really need to sand them, but you should clean off the anti-corrosion film they put on at the factory. use some dish soap and water. sanding wont hurt, it's just not really necessary.

Clockwise, the special tool helps but pliers will work. Just use the tips of the pliers into the grooves on the piston.
