I need help (engine problem)

Hey yall, I'm changing the timing chain, and I can't find ANYWHERE to support the engine, hoist it, or anything of that sort. The manual says to remove exhaust, upper and lower oil pan, cross member, etc. Then I have to remove the engine mount on the chain cover, where is a place to support the engine with a hoist or jack??? (1995 GLE)

Thanks in advance,
Andy

Why are you having to change it? I'm sure someone will chime in with help.

The person who had it before ran it hard ALL the time and so it finally took its toll and is clacking like crazy also I suspect the water pump is broke as antifreeze drips out from around that area a bunch and the engine overheats etc(127k miles)

I never heard of a timing chain clacking......its probably your water pump. The chain is suppose to last the life of your engine.
