Buddy of mine who thinks he is the **** with his ***** *** V6 Camaro was talkin all kinds of trash on my Maxima. Not that I really care which is faster, but im gonna run him. Just wondering if you think I could take him. Im pretty much stock power wise except for an axle-back.

this race will take place at a track. No need for a lock.

Are both cars stock?
Whos the better Driver?
And much more.

Grow up more things to worry bout then racing your buddy's detroit scrap.

I dont know i was in my sisters car with my friend, she was driving her AUTO 95 max and we took a 5-speed camaro early 90's V8 twice. DAmn that guy was steaming, I told him he can't keep up with a 4 door Auto V6 sedan in his V8 rear wheel drive Sports car.
Point is at the track you should have no problem taking him just dont get to much wheel spin.

I raced an 03 v6 mustang with dual exhaust and some other mods and I would have won pretty convincingly had I not spent so much time burning out (first time racing my max) . Those mustangs have 225 ft./lbs of torque too. I have a five speed but I have a bad knock sensor too, so I would say a v6 camaro would be in your rearview probably.

LOL most mustangs are slow... I know i sell them, The only mustang's that should be able to whoop on our maxy's are the Mach 1 & the SVT
and probably the new 05 Mustang GT w/ the 3v motor.
But other then that there are few american cars that have anything on a maxy. Maxy > camaro
You have to take into consideration that VQ30DE maual/auto (their both fast either way) are alot faster then most stock car's of their time.

Camaro v6=firebird v6 --- cavalier will give it a run for its money
Camaro z28=firebird formula --- a lot faster, but you should still win
Camaro SS= firebird trans-am --- You will lose
