clearcoat chipping on back bumper!! wtf!?

Anyone besides me having clear coat chipping off the back bumper? It started about 2 months ago, and now the spot is about the size of a matchbox car... is there any way to stop it besides having it repainted? I take really good care of this car, and it gets a wax every 3 months.. so I don't think it's something ive done to it... any ideas?

you can just have it re-cleared.

is it factory paint? i ask because if its not factory the problem might be lack of flex additive by whomever painted it. if thats the case, a new and proper paint job is in order.

I have the same thing on my bumper. It's slightly peeling next to the chrome trim. My bet is that my bumper was repainted at one time and who ever did the work was too lazy to remove the trim and just taped it off.
